Refunds & Cancellation Policy

Scope
This policy applies to subscriptions for Brivi’s speech‑to‑text suite (the “Service”). We aim to be fair and transparent. Payments are processed via Dodo Payments. Refunds are always returned to the original payment method and are processed according to the provider’s timelines (typically 5–10 business days after approval).
Cancellation
- Cancel anytime: You can cancel monthly or annual plans at any time from your account settings. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- No partial‑period refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused time once a period has started, except where required by law.
Refunds
We consider refund requests in the following situations:
- Duplicate or accidental charges: If you were charged more than once or charged in error, we will refund the duplicate/erroneous amount.
- Accidental renewal (unused): If a renewal occurred and you have not used the Service since the renewal date, contact us within 7 days to request a refund.
- Technical issues: If verified technical problems prevented meaningful use of the Service and our support team cannot resolve them promptly, you may request a refund within 30 days of the charge.
- Regional rights: We will honor any mandatory consumer protection rights (e.g., applicable EU cooling‑off rules) that provide a legal right to a refund.
Notes: We generally do not provide pro‑rated refunds for partial periods. Abuse, excessive refunds, or violation of our Terms may disqualify refund eligibility.
How to Request
Email support@brivi.app within the applicable timeframe, including your account email, the charge date/amount, and a brief description. We aim to respond within 2–3 business days and, if approved, submit the refund promptly to the processor.
Trials, Credits, and Promotions
- Trial periods, if offered, may convert to paid plans unless canceled before the trial ends.
- Promotional credits or free time are not cash‑refundable.
Chargebacks and Disputes
If you dispute a charge with your bank, your access may be paused while the investigation is ongoing. Please contact us first—most issues can be resolved faster directly with our team.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our Service or payment partners. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
